PLAYOFF PREVIEW: Division 7

** #20 Devon Bailey will lead Southfield Christian into the playoffs**

BREAKDOWN: It's no disrespect to any other team in Div. 7 but I just can't see anyone topping Traverse City St. Francis. The Gladiators are as balanced as you can get on both sides of the ball. Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest, comes in at 9-0, and is another favorite to reach Ford Field but they have a tough road ahead of them.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER TO WATCH: Jason Pratt, Merrill the 6-6 gunslinger carried Merrill to the regional finals last year and Pratt has the skill set to pick apart any secondary.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER TO WATCH: Max Bullough, St. Francis the 6-3/215 pound junior LB is already committed to play at Michigan State and he'll show you why!

UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH: Charlie Hengesbach, Pewamo-Westphalia the sophomore has helped deliver the school's first conference title in close to a decade by playing both sides of the ball.

TOUGHEST DISTRICT: Region 4- District 2 You know it’s a tough district when I’m predicting the four seed to advance.

TOUGHEST ROUND 1 GAME: Potterville vs. Grass Lake

UPSET BREWING: Merrill over Fife Lake Forest

SLEEPER TEAM: Southfield Christian, the Eagles enter the playoffs as a #4 seed, but trust me they have some very skilled athletes, the can create a big play, making Christian a very dangerous team.

FINAL 4 PICKS: St. Francis vs. Pewamo-Westphalia and Reading vs. Ubly

FINALS PICK: Traverse City St. Francis over Ubly

WHY St. Francis: no other team stands out on paper like St. Francis does in Div. 7. The Gladiators fell short last year at Ford Field and bring nearly everyone back including a nasty linebacker core of Bullough and Grant Robb.
