PLAYOFF PREVIEW: Division 2

**Andrew Maxwell looks to start another playoff run with another win over Arthur Hill**
**Anthony Davis is just one of Muskegon's many weapons**

**Josh Sinagoga of DeLaSalle**

BREAKDOWN: this division is flat out loaded with teams worthy of a State Title. While everyone loves Muskegon (so do i), the Big Reds have the toughest road with games against Hudsonville and Lowell before the semi-finals.

In Region 1- SVL Champ, Bay City Western is the favorite but don't dare underestimate Midland, Davison, or even Arthur Hill. In Region 3 it's gonna be a battle between Rochester Adams and Brother Rice right out of the gate, with DeLaSalle waiting next. And as much as people like the MEGA teams, I don't see any of them knocking off Southfield in Region 4.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER TO WATCH: Elan Banks, Muskegon Banks will kill you with arm just as easily as he will with his legs.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER TO WATCH: Ben Hayes, DeLaSalle the Pilots have been great defensively this year, and it starts with Hayes upfront.

UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH: Jimmy Pickens, Brother Rice the sophomore safety will have his hands full against Adams but he’s very capable of making a big play or two.

TOUGHEST DISTRICT: Region 2- District 2

TOUGHEST ROUND 1 GAME: Brother Rice at Rochester Adams

UPSET BREWING: #4 seeded Davison over #1 seed Fenton, if you can even consider that an upset.

SLEEPER TEAM: Southfield, could easily be undefeated and the Blue Jays have a ton of athletes that nobody will want to bump heads with.

FINAL 4 PICKS: Muskegon vs. Midland and DeLaSalle vs. Southfield

FINALS PICK: Muskegon over DeLaSalle

WHY MUSKEGON: it's gonna feel like deja vu from two years ago when DeLaSalle nearly pulled off the upset, but this a different Muskegon team that's hungry and out to prove a point for their beloved Coach Annese.
