FINALS: DIVISION 7

**Michigan State commit LB Max Bullough**
**Ryan Farley races for his second TD**
**St Francis defenders sacks Ubly's Jordan Kaufman**

Traverse City St. Francis made a return trip to Ford Field after falling short last year, but not this year, as the Gladiators took it right to Ubly with a 41-13 win.

St. Francis took an early 7-0 lead on Ryan Farley's 1 yard dive. Ubly hung tough but just couldn't stop the Gladiators from making big plays. Ben Swan's 47 yard run made the score 14-0 and Corey Williams TD passes of 34 yards to Matt Benson and 58 yards to Farley made the score 28-0 at the half.

Ubly came back with a big play of their own in the third when QB Jordan Kaufman took off and cut back across the field for a 65 yard run. Farley quieted the Ubly crowd with his third touchdown, a 33 yard run, to extend the lead to 35-7. Swan added another TD run for St. Francis, this time from 70 yards, to secure the win.

BREAKDOWN

St. Francis- the Gladiators feed off a talented linebacker core that holds it down for their defense but the offense really came to play today with so many big play touchdowns. The Gladiators will return plenty of talent and can easily make a third trip to Ford Field next year.

Ubly- in game's like this it's nearly impossible not to cheer for the small town underdog. Ubly was out of this game by halftime but the crowd, that seemed like everyone from the small town, stayed and cheered their team for four quarters, congrats Ubly on a great season!

Game MVP: Corey Williams, TCSF- the two big TD passes in the second quarter were the back breakers for St. Francis. He only threw 6 times, but completed 4 of them, and they were all big plays.

Ben Swan, TCSF- ran 8 times for 139 yards and 2 TD's.

Max Bullough, TCSF- the Michigan State commit has great instinct and pure linebacker skills. The junior was all over the field and did a good job chasing down the small Ubly backs.

Spencer Wheelock, TCSF- the least pubbed of the St. Francis LB's but he had a big day at Ford Field with a pair of sacks. He goes 6-3/200 pounds and really comes off the edge hard, he could be a big asset for a D-2 school.

Joe Kerridge, TCSF- I can't wait till next year to see this 2011 prospect play full time at LB, he already starts at fullback and is very physical. He's also very developed at 6-2/215 pounds.

Matt Zakrzewski, TCSF-
a 6-4/225 junior safety that doesn't waste any time to come up and make a big hit. I was equally impressed with his ability to cover down field. I can see him playing D-1 football as a linebacker.

Kyle Lints, TCSF- a 6-4/240 pound sophomore left tackle. Great footwork and strength and with two years still he'll only get better.
