The 2008 Middle School Showcase Camp took place this past weekend is Saginaw and was a huge success. The camp was put together by NGS and Coach McMath of Arthur Hill.NGS would first like to think the following people for their help in making the camp a success: Leonard Adams, Jerry Brackett, Pierre Brackett, Reg Evans, Mike Faletti, Draymond "Day-Day" Green, Omari Humes, Dedo Jackson, Maurice "Pookie" Jones, Derrick Kearney, Greg Lawson, Ronnie McMath, Trez Mushatt, Coach Swilley, and Craig Wind as well as Center Courts and Intermission Deli.
Campers in grades 5th through 8th participated in the one day camp. Players came from all over Michigan to make the competition level very high. The participants started the day with full court team drills, then moved into individual stations concentrating on fundamentals. Following lunch the players played in team games and a select few were lucky enough to play in the camp's All-Star game.
